Can we ever justify using TRIDENT and spreading nuclear fall out?

Unless someone can show me that a crystal ball works and they can see into the future then we need the big stick. It is there to point out to idiot leaders and sane leaders that mess around and get a first strike in, then your country will soon be a smoking hole in the ground.
